C&S: PA Attorney General Election Guide

City & State–PA recently published a guide to the election for Pennsylvania Attorney General. The article looks at the contest between Democrat Eugene DePasquale and Republican David Sunday for the state’s top legal office. Democrat DePasquale is a former state Auditor. Republican Dave Sunday is York County District Attorney.

DePasquale unsuccessfully challenged Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) for the 10th congressional seat in 2020. He is a former auditor general and three-term state representative. DePasquale is a Pittsburgh native.

Sunday has been the York County District Attorney since 2018. He previously served as special assistant United States attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania to prosecute federal gang, gun and drug cases.
