Ashley Ehasz’s PA run gets new DCCC assist

Roll Call reports Ashley Ehasz’s race in Pennsylvania’s first district (against Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick) is being highlighted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). The DCCC’s “Red to Blue” program is a way of directing scarce resources and it’s a way of indicating DCCC’s hope of flipping the district. President Biden won the district in 2020 but it remains a challenging race for Ashley. Fitzgerald narrowly defeated Ashley in 2022.
