Philadelphia magazine looks at new Society Hill

Sandy Smith, the real estate editor for Philadelphia magazine, provides an excellent summary of how Society Hill is being redeveloped.

Sandy’s piece focuses on the new residential tower, the Ryland, to show how Society Hill is being redeveloped. But what makes Sandy’s story so interesting is how he reminds us that  famous architect I.M. Pei’s notable career started in the 1960s with his design of three apartment towers in Society Hill.

Sandy then says that the new Ryland tower shows us how much urban living has changed since Pei’s 1960s towers.
