PBJ profiles Steve Jamison, owner of Philly’s Blue Sole Shoes

The Philadelphia Business Journal recently profiled Steve Jamison, owner of Blue Sole Shoes, a successful retailer located on Chestnut Street. Writer Lindsey Nolen notes:

“The boutique showcases an extensive curation of high-end shoes, clothing and accessories from around the globe. This is the manifestation of Steve Jamison's lifelong dream — a premier destination celebrating the art of men's style.”

Steve opened his boutique in 2007— just a few months before the Great Recession struck. What started as a men's shoe store has since evolved into a one-stop shop for gentlemen’s fashion. Since then, Blue Sole Shoes has established itself as a Philadelphia icon.

Steve’s 23-year-old daughter recently joined the team. Looking ahead, expansion is on the horizon for the Philly entrepreneur. Having successfully ventured into clothing, Jamison hopes to next expand Blue Sole Shoes' physical footprint and ultimately open a second location.
